Dr. Gigi (Geraldine Garcia-Rogers) is the proud Dental Director of Sugarbug Dental Suite, PC. She received her B.S. from Villanova University (1990), D.M.D from Tufts University School of Medicine (1994) and her M.S. in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1998. She has been practicing dentistry in Massachusetts for nearly 30 years. Dr. Gigi is devoted to caring for individuals with special needs having been on the medical and dental staff at the Tufts Special Care Facilities, Pappas Rehabilitation Center, Franciscan Children’s Hospital and New England Pediatric Care.

Dr. Gigi is very involved in organized dentistry and her community. She serves on the Executive Board of the Merrimac Valley District Dental Society and has held multiple committee chair and council positions at the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS). She is very devoted to access to care for all individuals and has served on the Board of the MDS Foundation She has served as a board examiner for the College of Diplomates (the highest distinction among pediatric dentists) of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy, which are all honor societies of the profession of dentistry. Dr. Gigi is also a member of the Executive Board of the Tufts University School of Dentistry Alumni Association.

In her “free time”, Dr. Gigi has volunteered on dental missions. She was a past board member of Project Stretch, Inc where she ran a mobile dental unit in Lawrence, MA. She has most recently travelled with Global Dental Relief (2024) to help treat the dental needs of children in Cambodia and hopes to travel with them again.

Dr. Gigi is married to John. They have two college age sons (GO BLUE!) and a very spoiled (but very entertaining) dog named Cookie. When Dr. Gigi is not doing dental things, she loves to travel, cook, dance and box.
