Dr. Geraldine Garcia-Rogers—“Dr. Gigi”—was born and raised in New York.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  She then went on to earn her Masters degree and certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.  She moved to Massachusetts in 1997 and got married, and she and her husband, John, have two boys who keep them very busy.

Dr. Gigi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Fellow of the International College of Dentistry, and Fellow of the American College of Dentistry.  She is an active member of the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), having served on the Leadership Task Force, the Council on Dental Practice, and the Executive Committee of the Middlesex District Dental Society.  In 2011, she received the William McKenna Volunteer Hero Award and in 2018 she received the Armen Nalband Award for her service to the dental society.  Dr. Gigi serves on the board of the MDS Foundation and the board of the Tufts University Dental Alumni Association.  She is also a clinical instructor for the pediatric dental department at Tufts’s School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Gigi is on staff at the Franciscan Hospital for Children, Lowell General Hospital, and the Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children.

Dr. Gigi is also a leader in her community, having served as an advisory board member of the family religious education programs at her church, a past member of Rotary International, and a member of the executive committee for Project Stretch, a non-profit dental organization serving those without access to care.

When she is not busy working, Dr. Gigi enjoys traveling to fencing tournaments with her kids, jamming with her garage band, 7 of 7 (on keyboards, guitar, and vocals), taking Zumba and boxing classes, and playing with her dog.
